Agate Inspired Invitation Suite

High school sweethearts, Kelsey and Tyler live in Chicago, but decided to have their wedding in Milwaukee, close to family. Their wedding took place at the Historic Pritzlaff, and it doesn't get any more classic "Milwaukee" than that!

Tyler is a geologist, so they chose to incorporate agate and other rocks into the decor and invitation suite. The watercolor elements in the suite were designed to mimic the color variations of the agate stone. Since it was October, to stick with the fall wedding theme, they decided to go with a navy blue and maroon color palette.

The suite is pulled together with navy envelopes sporting gold calligraphy and a maroon return address envelope.

To make their bridal party feel extra special, each of them had a personalized agate place card waiting for them at their seat at the head table.

We also used agate slices for the table numbers. For their place cards, we used tented cards written in navy watercolor.

Kelsey and Tyler were the sweetest couple to work with. So happy I could be a part of their day!
